My Solace (Bewitched and Bewildered Book 11)

For thousands of years Oron Viโ€™Eirson has lived each day trying to keep the pain and devastation caused by his family from hurting his precious baby brother. But despite his best efforts his past has come back to haunt him, placing not only Darian and Amelia in harmโ€™s way, but also his newly found mate.

Isabelle Campbell, or as she likes to be called, Izzy, is a mess. She knows this. Itโ€™s never intentional, but somehow her curiosity always seems to run away from her. When her latest gaffe lands her homeless and fired from her favorite barista job she is left little choice but to accept the kindness of some of her favorite customers, little did she know that by doing so, she would find herself starting the biggest adventure of her life!

With kindred spirit Meryn at her side, Izzy takes on the entire fae city to protect the heart of the kindest man she has ever met. If the golden fae think they can get away with hurting her mate, they are sorely mistaken. After all, her new friend likes to electrocute people.

When facing your greatest fear means facing your family, is there any escape? Can Izzy help Oron stand against all odds?

I love that we are continuing this journey into a new city. Definitely some shocking moments in this book. I will agree with others about typos etc, but even with that, these couples, this humor.... these books would make for great television as these one liners or scenes of comedy are really perfect.

I have been waiting for this book for so long. The main characters from all the other books are back (Meryn is my book hero). I love how Alder kept the series going further while still introducing new characters that makes the series feel current and not stale which can often happen with series that have this many books. The new characters are so much fun and keep making the series different while still staying true to its core story line. Like with all the women in the series, each new femal...

I have been really excited to move on to Eire Danu, itโ€™s not that I didnโ€™t love the other two cities, but there is just something about the Fae that I love so much. Plus I knew their city was going to be super magical. This book was a really good opening to the city, and Iโ€™m excited to see where it goes from here.
The things I liked:
I really liked Izzy, she reminds me of Amelia and Meryn, but also in a unique way. She was so Uber protective of Oron almost right away and I loved that about ...

So where do you begin to review this book. At the start is when it all begun and for that you need to know Meryn.
Everything we learn is about each mating and how Meryn fits into a puzzle that with this book just made some things so clear - and then makes you want the next book.
Now I can understand the little wait for My Solace.
When I started this book, seriously it felt like I came home. These characters are family to me. So reading about them made me feel all warm and happy inside.
